“Messy steps remind us that learning isn’t always pretty, and the lessons learned are hard-earned”

My journey has been anything but straightforward. With ADHD, it often feels like every step forward requires double the effort, double the focus, and a whole lot of patience. But here’s the thing: those challenges have taught me some of the most valuable lessons.

Learning isn’t supposed to be perfect. It’s supposed to be real, with ups and downs, twists and turns. Those messy steps? They’re where the growth happens.

Some days, it feels like I’m moving through mud—small tasks become mountains, and the path forward seems blurred. When motivation wanes, I’ve learned to break it down and embrace small wins, focusing on one step at a time. I am grateful for Allah’s guidance, which gives me strength and clarity in these moments.

Celebrating even the tiniest progress reminds me that growth is happening, even if it’s hard to see in the moment. Through each stumble and every small victory, I’m reminded that this journey is uniquely mine, shaping me into a stronger version of myself, all thanks to His mercy and wisdom.

Through it all, I remember: “Indeed, with hardship comes ease” (Qur’an 94:6), and “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear” (Qur’an 2:286). Every struggle is known to Him, and He sees the effort behind each step.

So, if you’re feeling like your progress is slow, or if you’re doubting yourself because your journey is different—remember that those steps are building resilience, strength, and understanding that only you can earn. And that’s something to be grateful of. 💪✨
